[Chains]

Went for a ride Thursday and went by 7 mines. It is amazing what goes on in these areas.  No homes on most of the roads the mines are on.  85% of the county works in the mines.  Men come from as far away as Kentucky to work in the mines and only go home on weekends.  Thought I would stop and get a picture of one of the processing plants.  Traveled 50 miles of roads around the mines and the only vehicles I saw were company trucks.

I worked at a Civil Engineering Company that has the underground surveys of that area and its' amazing at all the tunnels that are under ground there.

I can imagine, there are miles and thousands of acres there all owned by the mines. My hat is off to the men and women who work in that industry.
