mild engine upgrades fueling 574 cam +++
« on: September 02, 2014, 09:09:59 PM »

im doing a mild engine upgrade ,crank runout pinion shaft was .006 and sprocket side was .004 , so i will leave the crank alone , i want to run fueling reaper 574 cams and add a .030 head gasket and the heads are getting cleaned up , new bronze guides, beehive springs, new valves and seals i also want to mill/shave  the head to raise the compression , any opinions on the best compression ratio for the 574  cam ? and how much to safely mill?, my cylinders are getting bored .010 over with stock harley pistons (22000003) and the throttle body will get a clean up also, inner cam bearing b-168, s@s premium lifters w/o limiters, s@s quickee adjustables , axtell oil bypass , a dyno tune also, and also thinking about diamond cutting , i just want to address some known issues and get some good reliable, cooler , power ,, i already have the stock ventilator with k@n filter , vance and hines power dual headpipe ,high output slip ons , and dynojet PV1 tuner  , any input is appreciated thank you

who is doing the work for you?  I'm from Toronto and curious as to who people use.
Who are you sending your heads out to be done?  I had mine done at J Precision in Montreal.

I'm curious what feedback you get.
I suspect my next upgrade will be to deck the heads and slip a cam in.
