I recently installed the swivel mount. It won't support the weight of the GPS while going over bumps. It gradually falls to the lowest point. I wound up drilling a small hole through the swivel part and inserted a small nail to lock it in place. Works great now. Really like the new angle.

i just got mine in and installed.  got to take a quick test ride, and while it does seem to angle it better to cut down on glare, i did notice that it would 'droop' a little when hitting a bump.  i figured i would just tighten up the nut in the middle to make it harder to swivel.

the biggest thing i noticed was that the ram mount cradle that i bought to fit my garmin did not quite match up with the mount holes on the swivel.  what i ended up doing was turning the swivel face 90* and mounting it like a diamond to the ram mount.  but since the swivel face is a rectangle, not a square, its off a little bit.  not that much where i won't be able to get used to it, but initially my ocd had a problem with it..... :D  i'm over it now, and i do think it's gonna work out a bit better than just the ram cradle mounted to the iron aces mount.

oh, and just for the record, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the iron aces mount itself.  it's a quality product and i would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

If you have a fixed angle you want, try these wedge adapters from proclip. They sell 10 and 15 degree angles.
