I haven't seen the bike in person yet but have seen a ton of pics but none that look like these. I am not really that much of a Street a glide guy but in these pics the bike looks amazing!! If the Road Glide looked even close to that I would be in huge trouble (hopefully it will next year..).
I know there is a controversy about the pricing on the CVO SG this year but I gotta say that I think HD absolutely knocked it out of the park on this bike! Some have been talking about Indian giving HD a run with there new bikes but IMHO they don't have anything that can even "sniff" at this..

He bought it from S.D Harley ( Morena Blvd.) , the paint is amazing, where the flames are the orange appears to be 1/4"deep in the clear, almost a 3D effect, a wow effect!   :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:
He asked about the extended warranty and if he should buy it, he said they told him he has thirty days to buy it, my response ... ABSOLUTELY !      :nervous:      8)

Saw the same bike in Riverside, and it really is amazing.  Often the CVO paint isn't much better than standard, but this looks truly custom.  If only the CVO RG paint looked this good...  I'm waiting to see the black and yellow SG in person.  I wouldn't trade my Ultra for one (yet), but I might need a second bike  :nixweiss:

Tell him to get the extra warranty. One trip to the dealer can pay it all back!

Great looking bike!  I don't ever get the extended warranties on anything. Just my preference.

I don't either.....usually a bad investment.  However, I wish I'd gotten one on the last couple of Harvey's I purchased.  spyder

congrats to your friend.  Yes to the warranty. if he sells the bike he can cancel it and get a prorated refund.  Huge piece of mind.
Color rocks.  Best pics of it yet.  I may change from the silver to the blue. can you describe how much purple it shows?

I guess they call it Violet Blue,  when you look at it in the sun there is a hint of the purple. but more Blue over all.
