Hello Everyone,

Currently, I am a soon to be owner. All around first timer. As the subject states I am a week away from driving 2k miles (roundtrip) to go pick up a used just under 3k mi 2009 FXDFSE. I had opted to go look at it as I'm a little old school when it comes to large purchases. Don't get how some can buy online without seeing it. Anyways I'd got the vin# to give to my insurance and bank. Slipped my mind to check for recalls but did so this am. This is off the HD site.

I've done extensive homework on this year/model. Was loving it when my local dealer had on one their floor. Was working to much O.T. to put the deposit down and work out the details. Hence road tripping for one. Any insight to recall message is helpful. Thanks in advance. ~B~

Regarding the recall best thing to do is contact a dealer with the VIN and see if they can give you any information. The recall could be specific to your model or something that was pertaining to that model year ('09) on several/all models.
