Same issue with the latest software update. Mine was just updated to the 1.18.1.
The speed volume will work, if when you start the bike and everything is fully booted go to the speed volume setting, move it down then back up. It will now work until you shut the bike off.
Rather than go through that before each ride, why not just manually adjust the volume as you're riding? It would take less time to just hit the down volume button a couple times at stops, and bump it up a couple times when you get going again.
I wonder who is actually doing all the programming and updates for this system. Whoever it is, they should be fired and then hire someone with a least a partial clue and the desire to get it right the first time. I know that's not the way software is done these days, and everything is just half-assed to get it out the door ASAP, but it sure would be refreshing to be able to buy something that you don't have to download updates for as soon as you get the product home from the store, and then continuously for the life of the product. It's one thing if they offer updates to add new features, but these days it seems the updates to fix bad programming are more common.

Oh, btw, I imagine the reason the download links have been disabled has to do with them finding out the latest update sucks and they are working on the next update that may fix the current problem while creating a couple new ones.
