Front Engine True-Trac
« on: September 23, 2014, 08:50:57 AM »

I just put one on my bike and can certainly feel a positive difference in the way it corners.  One tip, when installing the piece mounted to the engine mount - leave the hiem joint connected (unless your changing you oil the same time) the filter will be in the way.

          Well worth it!

Hopefully this weekend I will get a chance to put the rear on.  I am hoping for the same degree of performance inprovement.

Any one know for sure if they can be installed without removing the exhaust???

This is just me but I would be very certain that the bike is perfectly aligned using the techniques from Glide Pro on You Tube or a similar method before I lock it in place.  It made a huge difference in how the bike cornered, and I use the True Track hooked up to the oil pan for my set up.  I would talk to the folks at True Track for fitment concerning the exhaust.  Would like to see photos some day.

Good Luck

I think I will look into the alignments.

Did you need to remove your exhaust when you installed yours?

It's not an issue for me, just need to plan for some more time is all.

I am very happy with the GlidePro on the '05 SEEG and the '09 SERG!

GlidePro has outstanding Customer Service!

I had the older frame and I did not have to remove the exhaust.  While the process can be a real pain if your bike is out of alignment, it is well worth the effort.  In my case it may have been knowing the bike was now properly set up plus the mental aspect gave me more confidence to push it harder cornering.  If you need any assistance just send me a PM and I will be glad to assist.
