too many choices - 15 SG CVO
« on: September 24, 2014, 04:44:44 PM »

well I have decided on the Violet Blue SG and now the waiting begins.  I now get to do all my research for what parts to add and starting with exhaust.  My last ride I had the VH Power Duals and the Hi Output muffs tuned with the Fuel Moto Power Vision.  I was pretty happy with that but that was also on the SGS with the 103.  VH told me that the same setup would be a little louder.  I have also had the Fullsac 2.25's with the Power Duals on my last CVO.
I realize there are many choices and its what you like.  I like the deep rumble of the Hi Outputs but it was a tad too loud for me at times.  what would you recommend for the 110.  deep sound but not very loud.  Thanks

I have the Power Duals and Monster Rounds with Fuel pack FP3. Monster Rounds are not as loud, have the same sound and have more torque down low.

I have the Power Duals and Monster Ovals, deep sound yet highway/stereo friendly.

My 09 SERG had the Vance and Hines Hi-Outputs and the Fullsac head pipe, in late 2010 I switch to the fullsac 2.25 baffles in the CVO muffler, I picked up a few foot pounds of torque down low, and it was more tolerable on the long trips, but still a good sound.

Since then my 12 SERG, fullsac and tts all the way
Wifes 11 Street glide, fullsac and tts all the way
My built 2013 SERK fullsac and TTS
Wifes 13 Street glide Fullsac and TTS
My 2015 SE RG ultra, Fullsac and TTS
Wifes 2015 RG Special Fullsac and TTS

Guess what I recommend

Man...I thought I spent big $$ on bikes...?

Wife's 2011 SG was traded on her 13 SG which was just traded on her 15 RG special.

My 12 SERG was traded on the 15 SERGU, and I still have the SERK.

I trade a bike around 45 K miles on it.  So you can see my wife rides, a lot.  She averages 35K a year, me only about 24K a year, I have to work.

Crusher mellows with any of the available headpipes. They put out some bark when u twist it, but low, deep volume when ur cruising.
