Jupiter, that's my old stompin' grounds before moving up here to GA. Man I miss the fishing. Maybe move back some day and get my sea legs back.

Have a great trip.

Cheers!

Thanks Bro. Be careful driving back.
I saw you were from Tequesta. My folks are on the North fork of the Loxahatchie just before the two bridges. Great Snook fishing!

It also says not to attach trailers too (but members here have done so). Since your bike has the regular suspension I don't know why you couldn't. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] This may be a disclaimer the MoCo puts in all manuals, however they sell side cars. [smiley=confused5.gif]

Shelby gets peeved when I don't take him. I wonder if I could match the paint job? The trailer would be more practical though.

That's funny. I used to live on Country Club Drive at the end of Tequesta Drive, only a couple of miles further up the North Fork from the A1A bridge. We used to catch-n-release Snook right inside the Jupiter Inlet on a slack tide the week before the season opened. You could look down and literally see them stacked up like logs sometimes. As soon as the season opened, they'd clear out like they knew what was going on and the place would be empty. You are right, that was some great fishing.

I took my wife down there Apr. 05 and took her out fishing. She had never fishing in the ocean, so it was a new experience for her. We picked up a real nice Sailfish and then followed that up with a nice smoker Kingfish that got tossed on the grill that night.  Talk about living high on the hog. It just don't get any better than that.

Have a great trip and enjoy yourself. I'm so jealous.

Cheers!

Sorry can't really answer that for you. Don't have any knowledge of sidecars; maybe somebody else will be able to give you that information.

Pretty cool. I really enjoyed living there.  Really appreciated it after moving away when I figured out what I had left.

Cheers!

I've got to take the BIG truck to haul all the kids Christmas presents.

I bummed out. That brings up a good point: in my owner's manual it says NOT to attach a side car to the FLHTCUSE2. [highlight]What gives? Is the bike too fast to handle a side car?[/highlight]

No you will roach the motor. They  run tooooo lean and toooooo hot so as to meet EPA regs.

Chief, congrats, and be sure to post some pix of the new bike.  When I picked up my B&O on Nov 12th it was cold, raining and windy.  So, I could not ride it or inspect it in the natural sunlight.  And they did not have the MCO for the bike.  I inspected it inside under their shop lights and my big flashlight and all was OK.  And a couple days after I got home they FedEx'd me the MCO.  They put a temp tag on it anyway so all was OK.

If you come through Memphis on your way to Arkansas be sure to wave at me, JR, MJZ, PHAZE, et al, as you pass through.   [smiley=apple.gif]

Chief,

I am glad to hear everything worked out with your new ride.

You could use this road trip as an excuse to check out every HD dealer between home and Arkansas.  Some new chrome would be the perfect remedy for those OCD symptoms you were experiencing ealier.

Travel Safe and have a Great Holiday,
Ghost

That may not be a bad idea as most dealers will be having end of year inventory sales before the do the inventory to start the new year.

Let's see D00d,  mark up the product 30% and then mark it down 25% for the sale [smiley=nixweiss.gif] now that is how they plant their foot in your azz and they make you feel good while it is being done to you [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

It is still fun to see all the stores while on the road. Oh hell just be on the road
