I'm using the Sena SMH10. It allows for intercom chat with a passanger, and BT connection to my Zumo, and iToys.

I use the Scala Rider bluetooth headset. I have the old G4 Powerset but they have came out with the G9 now. You can talk to other riders with the Scala Rider G4 or G9, listen to music, answer the phone, hear your GPS directions (Garmen or TomTom). The G9 has the ability to hook up to four total riders in full duplex mode or a bunch more in broadcast mode. Good if you are the Ride Captain and want to issue an order. We switch back and forth between our bike communications when it is just the two of us and the Scala Rider when in a group with riders running the headsets.

I have the Kenwwod unit. Works great! I don't have the helmet setup (only excuse I have to not talk to work all the time) so when my phone rings, the entire MC starts ringing.. I have had people in their cars ask me at stop lights "are you going to answer that".. System works amazing. Diff between stock unit is huge..

my whole system is from Soundz Customz.  pete just installed a Sony MEX-N5000BT.  it's got BT, Pandora, XM ready and a smart phone app that syncs up with unit.  so far I really like it.  it's marine grade so moisture not a problem.

Have you had a chance to pair up the radio to a BT helmet and get music to play through the helmet?

Porthole,

I read the discussion in the thread "Why your BlueTooth headset won't work with 2014 HD Boom 6.5 system."  According to the info on Crutchfield's website, http://www.crutchfield.com/p_158N5000BT/Sony-MEX-N5000BT.html?showAll=N&search=Sony_MEX-N5000BT&skipvs=T the Sony Mex-N5200BT does not have HSP (head-set profile) to allow the bike system to stream to a headset.  It only has:

*  Hands-Free Communication: HFP 1.6 (Hands Free Profile), PBAB 1.0 (Phone Book Access Profile).
*  Audio Streaming: A2DP 1.3 (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP 1.5 (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).

So we're still SOL for something that even the most casual observer would expect to be included on a bike.

One would think that an $1800 radio would give us what we certainly could use on bikes.
Or in keeping with tradition, at least a $250 add on module.
