Which conversion kit did you use for the running/brake light conversion?
I tried the HD brake light conversion module off my '05 RK Classic (it has the bullet rear turn signal bar kit 68615-04) but it made the rear turn signals on my '07 SERK stop working. I'm not sure which conversion module came off the '05 because it's a couple of years old now and I don't have the PN. I noticed that there are some newer modules available now though, so it sounds like I just need the right one.

Any help would be appreciated!

Okay bikerboy, this opened up a can of worms.  I called the dealer, got hold of the sales guys who told me they always recommend putting on the Kuraykyn conversion kit because it's a much better unit and it has the added advantage of blinking three times when the brake is applied.  I then talked to the service guys who looked up my bike and said, "no, we installed the Harley unit on your bike".  Then he said they are aren't aware of any problems with the Harley unit or with any Harley parts except the heated hand grips.  

So, who do we believe..., sales or service?  In the new Harley parts book what they put on mine that so far works as advertised is on page 529, item "F", p/n 69461-06, price $54.95

Thanks for that, but what did they do for the red bullet lenses for it? That's a flat lens kit. They don't make a red bullet lens kit for thr FLHR with the bullet signals. Can someone list all the individual PN's required? Thanks. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Hoist!  8-)

Try this one (ignore the comment that it isn't DOT approved for your bike, that is due to the narrow spacing of the optional light bar that's standard on the CVO's).  The two links are to the fancy lenses with the chrome visor, just in case you're looking for a little more bling.

hmm, i can't find the lenses in the catalog either but I know I've seen the red bullet style lenses hanging on a rack with the other styles at the dealership.  Pardon the sideways picture but here is proof they exists...

The plain red lenses (no chrome trim rings/visors/etc.) are just a regular replacement part you get from the parts counter.  Since those are the stock (for most bikes) part, they aren't in the accessories catalog.  The plain smoked or clear lenses are in the catalog.

If you like a little bling but aren't crazy about the visor style, Kuryakyn has a nice version with just a small chrome trim ring.

A little brain fade - what I meant to say was that the plain red lenses are like the plain amber lenses that are stock on most bikes, you can buy them over the parts counter.

69227-04A  Bracket Kit
69235-04    Hardware Kit
69228-04    T/Signal Kit, Smoke
             or
69229-04    T/Signal Kit, Clear
             or
69230-04    T/Signal Kit, Amber
