Mod for turn signals in Tour Pak
« on: October 14, 2014, 08:39:16 AM »

I searched the threads last night looking for some intel on how to rewire or otherwise modify my 2011 Ultra so the Tour Pak lights flash along with the blinkers mounted on the rear fender.  I'm sure this has been discussed so I apologize for my lackluster searching skills.

I would love to have improved visibility and safety from the rear with more flashing signals - the brighter the better.  And if I could also make the rear center Tour Pak lights work with the brake light, even better.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Check the Custom Dynamics website jacksonman. They have kits that will work for what you've described.

The center light should act as a third brake light. Add Custom Dynamic replacement LED turn signals along with the TP conversion and then they'll see ya..

Don't remember where I downloaded these instructions and don't know who to give the credit to, but here is a link to where I have it stored on the cloud.

http://1drv.ms/ZqZRt0 and it lists the HD part numbers you need to order.

Reply #188 of this thread has the instructions I followed on my 2011.5 CUSE6.

The instructions Delta linked to have nice clear diagrams and stuff and are essentially the same.

Thanks for the replies.  I figured this had been aired out before.  To my defense, spell check preferred Tour Oak over Tour Pak in my searches, explaining my zero search results!!  On the surface it looks like I have choices between the HD part numbers and Custom Dynamics LED kit.  Since it's mid October in Minnesota, unfortunately I'll have plenty of time to decide and to do the mod.

That's how I'm looking at it jacksonman - plenty of time with a long winter upcoming. I'm going with the Custom Dynamics set up.
