Tried a few times to post pictures of the new ride but it keeps saying it's to big. ....

Got full retail plus $2000 for the daymaker headlights & tires ($1702) that I had them install just two weeks before all this happened. ....... (+ rain gear for the 'ol lady) so real happy........

That's fantastic!  I was ready for your adventure to have a less than satisfying ending.  I'm glad it all worked out for you...

Thanks that helps as I really liked the Orange & Black on my old '12 and the new '15 color just doesn't  do it for me as much......it was the best outcome to a bad situation & everyone @ the dealership has went over and beyond to try and resolve this situation.   I am very pleased and after riding about 130 miles today I do notice that the '15 handles way better & smoother. ......it's starting to grow on me ( + the 'ol lady said she feels the seat vibrate when I crack the throttle. ...LOL)

Good for you Stud and the Misses...I assume she enjoys the built in vibrator when your cracking??? Damn thats a hell of an add-on...or is it part of the Rushmore revisions? You might not be able to ride anywhere without her now. That crazy HD MoCo...what will they think of next???

I am more than happy to share which dealer it was/is Zylstra Harley Davidson of Ames Ia.  I bought my 1st Harley (02 Low Rider)  & the '15 is my 4th (New) Harley and they have earned my business for life.  They were upfront and honest about what happened and thank God the mechanic that was test riding my bike didn't get seriously hurt (banged up ankle).  I think 10 or 12 years ago I may have not handled it as well, guess God is watching over me ?  The mechanic gave me a "Angel Bell" as a peace offering and told me sorry......that ment a lot.  I saw him yesterday (Monday) @ the dealership and asked him "how's the foot?" He smiled and said "better" Life is to short to carry a grudge. ...
