Well be sure to let me know when you are going to be around! There are always a few guys around that are up for a ride. I make it to St.Louis every year late in September. You've got this kickass HD dealership that has ALL of the major brands under one roof/ I spent an hour or better just talking to the Indian guy there this past September. Very cool place.

I moved out of Mich. too. Miss the people, but not the roads or weather. If I needed a good shop Torque Monsters would be it. Know of several highly satisfied customers.

Definitely do not miss the roads!!!!  Or the weather.  I'm good with any road north of Flint

Yep, that be the one. Right there on the side street running along the highway. We were burning some time waiting on a friend to join us for dinner back in September when I was down there. Figured we would check out the HD store. Sure enough HD was there on the end but so was just about every other brand!!! lol

Moved out of Battle Creek MI, in 1981 at 18 years old.  No such thing as a Job then.  I have been up 4 times in the last 6 years for the Bike Times in Muskegon, then head up to north to Ride the UP.

I do not miss the winters at all.  Summer is nice up there though.

I did the tunnel of trees for the first time this past summer then  over the bridge.  What a rush that was on a bike.  I like to do all my riding north of Flint.  South of Flint the general population is not very motorcycle friendly IMO.

Lots of great rides in Missouri and Arkansas.

I did too, also in the Thumb ( farm country), north of Richmond. Love riding in the U.P. , have relatives and friends that ride up there.

Was in Mich. couple weeks ago, for a funeral in Madison Heights, what a rat race, couldn't wait to get back south.

I love the tunnel of trees, and have done it several times.  Did you stop at Leggs INN?  Great polish beer and polish food and very unique place, stop there too every time.  The Mackinaw bridge is awesome.

We actually rented a cabin from the Leggs inn for a couple of days.  They are a little rustic but on the beach behind the restaurant.  It was great.  Had the beach to ourselves

  That's where the ship wreck museum is, just north of Paradise if I remember right and near Taquamanon Falls, been all through there a few times, Pictured Rocks too.  Then Fayette the old Iron ore ghost town, which is now a state park.

I was born in Battle Creek, lived there till I was 18.  I go back to MI every year, all my family is in Battle Creek, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.  I left in 1981, no jobs there.  Copper Harbor is well worth the trip, lots of neat old mines and lots of shore line.

If you visit TN there are lots of great rides on the eastern side of the state where I live.  Lots of nice curvy hill roads.

Great area, I have relatives in Escanaba and have ridden the U.P. a lot in the last 40 years.
There was a bar near Paradise called the Yukon Inn, got the worst case of food poisoning I ever had. Rode my 1988 FLHS like a madman from rest stop to rest stop form there to Harrison, I always made it just in time.
