So last night for the second time my volume control on the handle bar stopped working.  Had the firmware upgraded to the latest version last time I was at the dealership.  Both times it happened, shutting down and restarting fixed it.  Anyone else have the same issue?  Any suggestions?

Yes, that happened several times on mine with the 1.18.0 version of the soft ware which my bike was delivered with.
At the 1000 mile service they updated the software to 1.18.1, which fixed that but added a host of other problems.  That version a week later was put on hold, it can not be down loaded and more.  Site has said on hold for 5 weeks or so now.

Sad with all the claimed testing on the Rushmore, a radio that is over a year in production still is not right, the Nav part is screwed up too.

Seems the only rush was to get it in production, not to get it right.

Exactly.  That's the way it's been at H-D for many years now.  Why pay to do proper testing before the fact when they have legions of unpaid beta testers lining up to pay them top dollar for those untested products?  Don't worry, based on recent history they might have an effective fix in another five years or so.  The urgency at H-D to fix their mistakes is much lower than the urgency to pump the product out so they can count their money.

A new firmware is available on the site 1.18.2 you may want to try it.

yup.. I just haven't uploaded one myself yet and am trying to find out how to do it.
