trucklite LEDs
« on: October 26, 2014, 01:33:01 PM »

Just fitted a Trucklite Phase 6 to my Flhtcuse2 and was thinking of putting the Phase 7 passing lamps with it.   What's the general opinion of how that will look ?   There is a sort of division line between high and low bulbs (when off) with the Phase 6 headlight, which should look ok and match the horizontal line on the phase 7 passing lamps.
Next issue will be how to get some, not that easy in the UK.....if anyone can suggest a source that ship to uk, that would be helpful.
Thanks All
Andy

I didn't care for the Phase 7 lights and recently changed them out for the dual bulb HID headlight and LED driving lights (very similar to the Phase 6 driving lights) purchased from SOCALMOTOGEAR. Although the light output was fine from the Phase 7's and I liked the look, I didn't feel they were very visible to incoming traffic during daylight. The HID's are very bright and the driving lights are close in color to them and project a nice wide beam.

I would keep them the same.  6 with 6. 7 with 7.   I like to keep things matching. Looks weird to me when anything is just tossed together.

I do agree, but phase 6 are even harder to get as they appear to be discontinued.  When you stand back and look at a Ph6 headlight it does have a horizontal line across the middle.  I think it may look ok with Ph7 passing lamps, which also have a horizontal line.
Does anyone have a comment on the look of them together?
Thanks

I agree with cvostu about keeping phase 7's and phase 6's together for appearance. Here is a link to the phase 6 equivalents from SOCALMOTOGEAR. They cost $149 for the driving lights.
