Steve:  Will the New 304 DX pipes have dual bungs for 2009 and 2010-current bikes?  Thanks

They 18 mm ports and plugs will be offered as an upgrade, same as our current DX. I have always felt the guys who don't need them shouldn't be forced to pay for those who do. I have yet to run 18mm ports on any of my bikes.

Vtune 3? Whats that? 1250.00 for the LMF? I'm like WTF? Lol.. The crew and I talked yesterday about buying an older RK to use for "alternative" exhaust designs. Might be fun step out of the "Performance Touring" box and build obnoxious unpractical exhaust systems for those who could care less about performance or decel pop. The older Touring bikes are becoming available for well under 10K these days. The number of people molesting these helpless bikes for lowrider duty is on the grow for sure. I may have to open my mind up a little further to actually ride one. Lol..

Maybe you can stay within the performance touring box and still target those molesters (like me I guess) with something comparable to Sinister, Yaffe, Misfit, Covington, etc. I would think the market for "customization, looks, appearance" is way larger and more profitable than those looking for nothing more than performance. You've already perfected the performance side; so why not try and bring that to the other side?  More encouragement  :)

BTW: My molested ride is a '13 with a Stage III, SERT, S&S intake, and straight pipes. I have no decel popping and it looks louder than it really is ... D&Ds are way louder.

I have been looking at all the side pipes currently on the market. Some are cool, some are just ridiculous. All are very expensive! Current problem with all of these short low back pressure designs is getting the 02 sensors to read correctly. I have some ideas that I will be playing with real soon.  Just rode my clean one owner low mile 2004 RK donor bike in from Laughlin, NV last night. This Craigs list cream puff is going to get unspeakable things done to her very shortly. Frame is going to the floor, bags are hitting the ground. All air, no kickstand. It going to get weird around here real soon. Thanks for sharing your ride!

Doesn't stainless turn yellow within a few heat cycles? Does the ceramic coating help with that issue?

Has anyone tried another pipe that is SS? IE: Fuel Moto? Any feedback?

Corrosion and longevity. Pound per pound a stronger material than mild steel that will hold up to more heat and vibration for longer duration's. Stainless has less thermal conductivity than mild steel too. Add ceramic coating on top and that's about as good as it gets. In the real world I don't know if the right leg will feel any difference?

Here's a good read on it if you like the technical stuff.  http://www.burnsstainless.com/stainlesssteel.aspx

I've yet to find a complaint about the mild steel DX with the ceramic coating. If there's no performance benefit, I might have to go that way unless the stainless is close in price. Talk to you in a few months.

I haven't used either one YET, but the Fullsac seems to be the x-pipe of choice on this forum over the Fuel Moto (even being stainless).

Those are really cool looking. What would even be cooler would be duals with the twin pipes on each side. In my favorite color chrome, of course
