Well I had a 12 CVO road glide, the skunk. Great bike. I added Daymaker LED lights, chopped tour pack, lowers for winter, solo seat, powder coated engine rack, luggage rack, and so on. NIM module, Garmin GPS 660, internal wired. Around 37 to 38 in the bike total. Put 45,450 miles on it before I traded it in the 2015 CVO Road Glide Ultra. I have just over 4250 miles on it already. 39 for the bike, and I have another 500 in setting it up for me, made the tour pack quick detach solo, moved the plate down below the tail light, put the solo seat from the 12 on it. I also have 950 in rear shocks as I think the HD air shocks suck, and the bike wallowed in the curves compared to my 12. With the new shocks it rides better than the 12.
Is it worth it? I really feel it is. The bike runs cooler. The bike has everything. The head unit is nice, the integrated phone is real nice. Nice to call your wife on the bike behind you. Or to call and say your on your way home, running late. I do not like I can not use GPS touch features in motion like I could on my 12 with the Garmin 660. The 15 sits a little higher, due to 13" shock on it vice the 12" on the 12. That said, I can lean the bike farther before the boards drag.
Here is the 12 this past summer a month before I traded.

Here is the new one after I set it up solo, the way I like my bikes.
