Hmmm. That's tough.  Do you have a desk top computer?  If so, Power Vision.  Otherwise, you are SOL as both require a computer.  The TTS has to be connected to the computer to tune where as the Power Vision can be loaded from the computer and taken out to the bike for programming.  The Power Vision also has capabilities to be used as extra gauges.

X2 on the power vision.
Do you have a friend who's computer you could use? As once you've downloaded the map onto the power vision all the rest is then done on the bike, power vision now have hundreds of pretty close maps to most common exhaust set ups, if not Jamie at Dynojet is usually pretty good at helping out,
The only tuner I believe  that does not require a computer at all is the V&H new FP3 thAt works from your iPhone .

I have the FP3 and highly recommend it. Just need an iPhone to download the map and then flash it to the bike. Would only recommend if you are using their headers and slipons although some people have used the autotune feature on other brands...
Once you are done you can take the box out unless you want to autotune and try to get that last hp out of the bike or just enjoy checking head temp or rpm in real time on your iPhone.
I have that setup on my 2014 CVO RK with power duals and monster rounds.

Wrong Chris...the TTS does not need a computer to record V-Tuning....the interface will record up to 7 hours depending on the data your are collecting. BTW the TTS filters data better than any other tuner on the market.....the more data collected per second the better the end tune will be. There is a lot more to this tuner comparison stuff than most people know, so a little bit deeper research would help you make the best decision on what tuning SOFTWARE is the best.

Doc, that's not what I was getting at.  I was under the impression he was going to use on of the canned maps.  What I was getting at was he needs a computer to load the map into the bike's ECM if he uses the TTS.

The Power Vision doesn't need the computer after you have finished loading the current/updated software version into it.  The TTS will always be a slave as it has to go back to the laptop or desktop.

TTS is a great tuner, but I like the wide bands and the fact that I can modify a tune from the seat of my bike.

Another plus of the Power Vision is that I don't have to worry about a dyno operator not giving me a copy of the tune...  I can pull it from the bike and save a copy.  Now, I'm not sure if the most recent TTS can do this, but the original SERT couldn't.

Also love my FP3 too ... I'm sure it isn't the best way to tune your bike, but it worked great for me when you don't have a bunch of cash to spend. I also didn't want to spend for a dyno to watch somebody beat the crap out of my bike either. I had to update my phone since my old one was only 2.2 Android and you need at least 4.0 for the FP3 program to work, no biggie ... new phone was only 45 bucks and way better than my old $100 phone.

I would bet he could fudge the combo on the FP3 and say he has Power Duals or pick some other catless headpipe with stock mufflers, download the map, flash it and then run the autotune and be just fine, but don't hold me to that. May not even have to do the autotune, mine ran great with their map for my pipe. I did try the autotune and apply it to their map with no drastic difference ... I really didn't populate the tables as much as I would have liked to either so maybe that's why I didn't notice much.
