Help with floor boards
« on: November 30, 2014, 05:14:25 PM »

Does anyone know how I can 1) get the rubber insert out without ruining it or 2) if the insert alone is available from the company. Only left side front and rear floor boards are pitted and bubbled & I want to get them re-chromed. The cost of both new sets is outta my league right now. Thanx in advance.   :bananarock:

If you want to experiment on separating the rubber from the insert without putting yours at risk, there is one in similar condition on eBay right now with a buy it now price of $10 with $5.90 shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/HARLEY-DAVIDSON-TOURING-FLOORBOARD-INSERT-SCREAMING-EAGLE-2005-/251717674696.

I am not the seller and have no affiliation with them.

If you figure it out, please post how you do it here.
