I have been on this forum for a couple months now but never introduced myself. I joined the forum when I decided to take the plunge and buy a 15 CVO Street Glide in Hard Candy Mercury. So far this site has been great for learning everything, and I do mean everything I need to know about the CVO world I just stepped into. I came from a long history of Hondas starting with a trail 70 I had on the farm in the 80's. Moved up to a 79 CB750F SS, then an 82 CB900C, a 2002 Goldwing, and then converted to Harley in 09 on my 2nd of 7 consecutive trips to Sturgis. Brought the recently paid off Goldwing title that year and never looked back.
It was an 09 Deep Turquoise and Antique White Ultra that caught my eye across the vast selection of Harley's at Black Hills Harley. I bought it with thoughts that I would probably regret getting rid of my Goldwing, but then after a while I realized I made the right choice.
In 2012 I bought my wife a 2000 Heritage Softail in white and we have never looked back. I enjoy working on Harley's, Victory's (not as much) and other bikes more than ever since I bought my Harley.
We have 2 kids, 10 and 13, and try every opportunity we can to get them out on rides, we even bought them some Honda dirt bikes last year to get them more interested and it has helped.
Anyway, enough about me, I am very happy I joined and look forward to learning more every day.
