Seeking input on what slip-ons work well with the Fullsac DX pipe? Any to avoid?

Depends on what you looking for in the mufflers. Sound or performance. Maybe both? I had the Fullsac CVO 2" cores on my bike with the CX head pipe. It ran real good and wasn't that loud.

Fullsac cores work great, weather you go 1.75, 2.0 or 2.25.

You do not want any muffler larger than 2.25 or it does not have enough back pressure for good performance.

X2 on the FullSac cores.
The chrome on your stock mufflers is second to none.

X3 on Fullsac Power Cores in the CVO cans. The 2.25" cores with Fullsac screens installed sound great. They react to TTS & the dyno really well too!!!! Quality stuff!!!!

I have the 2 in baffling in my CVO muffs, looks stock an sound great. Steve said more power than 2.5 inch. Or they tune better. DX an TTS MAP has worked great.
I only had to add a spacer on the oil pan bracket, to keep from putting it in a bind.
Still can hear tunes at cruise, mild rumble at idle, it will make a pretty loud rumble when you do a full throttle pull.

Like all the other posts here......why spend wasted $$ on slip ons when you can just change the cores to Fullsac?   :nixweiss:

Keep the clean, stock look, get the performance and sound that you want with Fullsac cores.

I have had the 2.0" Fullsac baffles installed in my stock mufflers since 2009. I am happy with the sound and performance.
Saying that. If I were going to replace the mufflers I would purchase the Kuryakyn Crusher Mellow Mufflers.
They sound great and from the dyno sheets I have seen they perform very well even in higher horsepower builds.

Ran those, loved the sound, however the low end torque is much better with fullsac baffles.  So Fullsac baffles is all I use now, even got a set of CVO cans so I can run them on the wife's Road Glide Special.

Sound is in the ear of the beholder! That being where I'm at I did the same and used the CVO cans with various size cores in my '09, '10, and my 1995 113" hot-rod, works for me!

JMHO, of course, don't want to get the bashing from people who disagree!  8)

After reading all the reviews here about the Fullsac cores I decided to put the stock cans back on my 2010 SG and give it a try.  Got the 1.75" and 2.00" cores with screen.  Put in the 1.75" and started it up in the garage.  Sounded OK but decided to go ahead and switch to the 2.00" for the first riding test.  Now if it would just warm up, I'll try them out.  It was 4 degrees on the way to work this morning so I didn't ride today!

I was running the Klock Werks Platinum Series Revolver Slip-On Mufflers.  They are really nice mufflers - look good and perform well but just wanted to try something else.  Will see how the Fullsac CVO cores work out.  I have the Vance & Hines Power Dual headers.
