Oh No Here I Go Again

The wife and I stopped by the local dealership. While she was trying on boots, I tried on a new CVO Roadglide. She saw me sitting on it and reminded me that was how I bought my current RG. That time I went back the next day and bought it. Well, it's been a few days and I haven't bought it, but it sure is on my mind. What a machine. Time will tell.

I learned this lesson long ago: never take the wife with you to the Harley shop...she'll find SOMETHING to buy that she doesn't need.  On the other hand, I'm sure you need a new bike.  See how practical the male mind works.

For me it is not parting of cash for the bike.  It is the continuing bleeding from the repairs for all the problems they have and mods that have to be made to get the bike to run properly.

The mind is a powerful thing......we can sell ourselves on almost anything...   :huepfenlol2:
Maybe the "fair thing" to do would to be to take your bike out for a ride and ask yourself "what is really wrong with it, and is loosing money on trading in worth it for a couple of bells and whistles etc..." We all sell ourselves with the dreams and plans for hours of fun on the new item but in reality can the same amount of fun be accomplished with the old bike?
All that being said , if you can afford it and it would allow you have more fun then enjoy the new bike........  :2vrolijk_21:

If you like and have the money then do it. It is a gut feeling when it is right. I ask the Big Man upstairs to guide and ask for it to be denied if it is the wrong thing. I was considering buying an upscale car and after saying the prayer a neighbor stopped me on the road and asked to buy some property. Two minutes from amen to offer to buy.
