Throttle body change?
« on: December 21, 2014, 08:02:59 PM »

So when in your opinion have you modded the 110" to the point of a larger T/B?

Thinking I m going to build a 113" in the near future but like the 255's
Are the stockers really that bad?
2007 cuse2

Thanks Steve

If you look at the dyno charts a bigger throttle body will help by about 10 hp with a simple cam change and compression bump.  If you are going bigger pistons etc. it would be much more beneficial. If funds are available it can only help!

The intake manifold port on the stock t/body is not even close the I.D. of the 110" cylinder head port.
The 58 mates up to that pretty darn good, but can be improved upon.

From what we've seen on the dyno 109-110 HP is about the limit of the stock DBW throttle body.

I don't think you would see a big enough difference to justify the cost with that cam.  Almost any other cam.  I'd say go for it.
