Black Dog,

I had a company here in the Dallas area remove the old paint on the floor (builder painted it prior to us buying it >:()  It took 3 days to get the old paint off.

The garage is approximately 950 sq. feet.  After the old paint was removed, the floor was cleaned and etched.  Then the epoxy was applied.  Here is a description from their website...

..."Durable Epoxy Flooring
Our durable epoxy floor coating is comprised of 100% epoxy resin and can transform even the most stained and marred garage floor into something you can be proud of.  Epoxy flooring is often used commercially in schools, office buildings, and other high traffic areas, making it a perfect application for the garage.

Our epoxy finishes are chemical and scratch resistant and will provide you with years of durability.

Garage Concepts is the South Central distributor for Epoxy Systems, Inc.

Granite Style Epoxy Flooring Options
Our granite style epoxy flooring is comprised of multi-colored vinyl chips embedded in pigmented epoxy and sealed with two coats of extremely durable polyurethane.

Colored vinyl chips can be blended together in unlimited combinations to achieve the look you desire.  The seamless surface lends itself to easy maintenance, as it is resistant to staining and abrasion."

...The floor install took only a day and a half.  I am thrilled how it turned out.  It really looked bad before with the paint peeling up in all the hot spots from the tires.

Holy Crap, my first house wasn't 950 sq feet.  Everything really is bigger in texas.  I think I'll have my checking account moved to a Texas bank.   ;)

Thats a nice set up man, I dream of a garage like that someday.

Later,
Ghost

Harley team, you keep a collection of those "I'm with A$$hole" T-shirts?  ;D

Most of us would be more than happy to have your shop, the sity dwellers don't have that kind of room.

I used 4 of the Gladiator cabinets when I put together a work area in our new garage. I've had them for 2 years now and am very please with their quality and of course appearance. No chrome but the silver tread finish on the doors and dark gray powder coated frame work is very nice. I did choose to custom build my bench rather than using the Gladiator bench.

WOW, calling out my little red OCC hat in my little dream garage is like telling Cindy Crawford she is ugly because she has a mole on her face ;D ;D

Thanks for the compliment folks, and even to you Spiderman ;D

I actually have about twenty hats and I have no idea why that one happened to be out on this particular day.
