Don, I had them on for a few weeks and took them back off to return for refund.  They've got a fitment issue.

The mirror part is actually pretty slick.  And I think they'd work very cool if you could adjust them where you needed.  Problem is you can't (or at least I couldn't).

The arm on our stock mirrors is mostly founded.  The arm on these new mirrors is generally rectangular in shape.  It's also much larger in outside diameter down where the master cylinders are than our stock mirrors.  That's where the problem comes in.

Before you can deflect the mirrors as far outboard as you'd like for best rear vision that rectangular arm comes in contact with the master cylinders.  You can push them close to where you want them.  But they just won't quite get there.

I tried loosening the heads and every other thing one might normally (or abnormally) do.  And the damn things just won't adjust out quite far enough.  If they had same arms as our stock mirrors do, or an arm that was just smaller in diameter in its lower half, they'd work find.  As they're made right now, however, the silly things just won't go where you need them to.

Yea had them on for about six weeks and love them. No fitmit or adjust abilty problems here. The stem is quite close to the what came stock on the 07 cuse2 just sits about 1 1/2 lower in height and looks sleeker and sits below faring which helps on the bug clean up. The split vision is great can see a great deal more. I would give them two [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Don't have them, wouldn't want them... looks like they have a growth on them. Ugly IMHO.

How recently did you get yours?  Have to wonder if the stem was changed as my very early production pieces would not turn out far enough without butting against the hydraulic cylinders.

I was ambivalent about the appearance.  But really liked what the mirrors could do if I just could have gotten them swung outboard far enough.  The expanded field of view and new areas added to the field of view were sweet.  I could get used to the look if I just could have got them adjusted where they needed to be.

Yea its a great filed of view. Saftey Saftey. Ive been told there old man mirriors or they belong on a goldwing yea yea. I got the same ribbing when I put the leather dash on seeg. At least these a functional. Its one of those love/hate deals. Im not sure about the adjustment as I had no problem. Moco could of made change like you said.

Old man mirrors they may be.  But what the hell, I started wearing glasses (most of the time) last year.  It was obvious how much they would expand and improve the field of view; especially almost eliminating the blind spots (if I just could have gotten them adjust correctly).  And while they may not be beautiful they at least weren't butt ugly.  That's a trade off I would have made if they'd just fit right.

Will have to eyeball another set at the dealership sometime to see if they look any different.  At least worth finding out about.

Hey Don, If you do not like the splitvision. Try both handlebar mount and fairing mount :D

If the bike already had the fairing mounted mirrors on it I'd at least consider it for road trips.  But I'm not boring holes in the fairing to mount stuff I might change my mind about later.

My 2 cents on this is to never trust your mirrors, no matter how much vision these new ones get you or even adding the fairing mount mirrors as well.

Having said that I would not add any ugly mirrors to my bike and give up aesthetics for performance.

Always turn your head and look 8-)

Hey! Guy's
[smiley=oops.gif]Well I must be an old fart that can't see, because I kinda liked them. Jim the thought wasn't to replace turning my head but the design to help with that blind spot appealed to me.
