Hey UAV Pilot,
If the 2015 is in the cards for you, that is the way I would recommend you go.

johnbv, Great comments. They were refreshing to hear.
My SEUC8 has been a great ride as well. I love it!!!

Johnbv you could not have said it better.   I have had one problem with my bike.  It was taken care of.  But I purchased a harley I pretty much expect to have to work on it.

Ok, Thanks everyone for the comments.  John your post is the exception.  In advertising, it has been said that if a customer has a good experience he will tell one other person.  If a customer has a bad experience he will tell 10.  These forums are similar.  Those of us who have been trouble free seldom post how GOOD something is performing.  Instead we sit back and wait till something bad happens to our bikes or other merchandise and then we complain or we seek guidance.  I have been contemplating the 2012 at my dealer for over a year now.  They still have it.  I just do not believe that I can or will take the hit on a brand new 2015 bike even with my deployed discount.  Hopefully the dealership will want to work with me on the 2012 model.  Thanks everyone for the comments.

Hi,

Did you pull the trigger on the 2012?

I have 9k on mine and totally trouble free. Just changed out the exhaust this week which I highly recommend. Runs so much better without the cat it's like a different bike.

The yellow/black paint scheme in the '12 CVO is one of my favorite paint combo's but I'm admittedly biased!

Good luck, thanks for your service and stay safe!

No, I have not pulled the trigger yet.  On the motorcycle that is.  I am going to talk with my dealer this week and see what they say.  I just got back in the US and will be home for about 2 months so we will see.
