Putting The 110 Valve Train on a Diet
« on: January 10, 2015, 12:07:33 PM »

These valves will be going in my 110 as a test with the stock cam and our premium lifters.

Intake 2.1" 102G VS the 2.08 stocker 113G
Exhaust 1.625 85G VS the 1.623 stock valve 93G

Springs
AV&V Beehives 116G VS Stock Dual Spring 163G

Goal is reduced valve train noise and longer lifter life.

The valves are customs with 7mm stems. I won't get around to the install until summer, I am very busy with work.

i also changed the intake 2.1 exhaust 1.65 ,beehive springs, bronze guides, from patrick/av@v but used s@s premium lifters, s@s quickee adjustables  , and fueling reaper 574 cam , very quiet valvetrain, with an awesome idle.

These valves are much lighter by virtue of 7mm stems and nailhead design. Not putting down what you did. The tuliped valves are heavier than stock.
