« on: January 24, 2015, 12:24:01 PM »

It obviously depends on the specific lever.  I'm not familiar with the Ness item.   Harley has an extended lever that will fit but it's the Billet style and thus does not match.  I've been looking into this as the seat pushes me too far forward.  Rather than change the brake lever, I am probably going to have my seat altered to push me back a couple of inches.

I've got the 15 CVO Limited and I've been looking myself and seems the mounting portion of most extended pieces, footboards, levers, etc. are different on the 14 & 15.  I've just come across a set from Softbrake that I'll be calling on next week.   Seem's they didn't put much thought into tall guys riding.  If anybody finds anything please post.

They have extended brake arms. They are coming out with the extended brake arm for the newer bikes that have lowers with radiator's in them. In talking to them there is some difference between the lowers in the bikes with radiators & ones without...

I spoke by phone with Carl Miles of heelguard.com.  He carries the Softbrake Extended Brake Lever and says it will work on the '14 - ' 15, shower head Ultras.  Looks like it would help but it doesn't match the Airstream Collection.

Could you post a couple of pictures, please?   Thanks in advance.

Here are some pictures of my soft brake

Thanks you!  Perfect placement and the look is OK.  If the lever itselft looked more like the Airstream collection, it would be perfect.

It turns out that an old friend of mine, Zipper, is a tech support at Performance Machine.  They are located in Orange County but he lives fairly close to me in Marina del Rey.  He is going to try to bring me one of their Contour brake leavers. That may work as well by getting rid of the big pedal. If not, Softbreak may be the way to go. Thanks again!

I have the harley one that matches the original one.   Works great and is very comfortable.  Goes with with the baker customs slotted extended shifter to.  Stuart.

Hd extended brake lever.

The mounting is different for 2014 and 2015s.  Is the one you are showing on a 2014 or 15?  My dealer didn't have one for a 2014/15.

The soft brake doesn't look bad.  I may go with that.  Was there any problems in putting it on?  I was curious since this is all new. The dealer tried to take it off to "test" the extender they had but couldn't get it off.
