Have you ever thought about using the search feature on this site made for this very reason?
Yeah, you will get responses but there are many, many threads about rear shocks that will pop up in a search!

Throw them away, and get a pair of Progressives.  If you're an aggressive rider, Air Shocks are dangerous.  They tend to "hop" when you go into a curve pretty hot.  That's been my experience anyway.  No Air Shocks for Ol' Hub!  They're junk!  8) Later--HUBBARD

Agreed, Progressives are a huge improvement for the money, there are better and far costlier shocks, but for average riding they work well.

Puma - I see where you have recommended Race Tech a couple of times. How about telling us what you are using them on and providing a candid review?

This is the best I can do. A friend has a RaceTech rear shock on his ST1100, an old sport tourer, and had them on his Kawasaki Nomad 1600, a bike similar to a Road King. I rode the Nomad often and it was many times better than my own Kawi 1600 with stock suspension (the same bike as the Nomad except no hard bags. I added a back rest and leather covered bags, so the weight of the bikes was similar). RaceTech also had excellent customer service. The shocks are made to order for each customer in the USA. I happen to like the HD Premium Ride shocks on my CVORK enough to keep them for as long as they last. If they ever go I will replace them with Racetech in a heartbeat and might get their front end kit with "cartridge emulators". I have no experience with the fork springs/emulators so I can't speak on them, but I'm confident after experiencing their shocks that they know enough about suspension to improve a front end as well. I'm shocked at how few people know about this company. I have nothing to gain by recommending them. I just want to participate on this forum and hopefully help someone achieve a better ride.

If you actually like to get the best handling out of your HD go with Ohlins. Far superior than anything else recommended and what is used on most MC and CAR racing vehicles. And I am not talking drag racing, I meant I sports there they actually get to turn and need some skill  :2vrolijk_21:

I have had two pairs of progressives over the years and both were junk. No progressives for me.

I just put a set of Ohlins #6 on my bike, amazing difference. I'll have a set of Suspension Technology shocks for sale shortly. Send me a PM if you're interested in them.

Fully agree.  When I first got my 15 SERGU and ran it through the curves I hated the bike, it was loose and back end felt like it was washing out.  Could not believe it, as I loved my 09 SERG and my 12 SERG and my 13 SERK.  Did not take but a moment to figure out the difference was air shock on the 15.  Tried several air pressures but it never felt right.

Put Ohlin HD-159 on and it handles better than any of my previous Harley's.  So much so I am looking to add them to my 13 SERK.
