Looking for info on which wires control the hi-beam with the daymaker headlight. There is a connection with 4 wires.  One wire is black, which I assume is the ground. I need to find out which color combo (solid blue, blue/yellow, blue/white) provides the juice for the hi-beam. I suspect it is the blue/white on the outside, just want to make sure.

Thanks,

Cam

Not trying to be nosey, but what are you attempting to do. Headlights on 2014 up are operated thru the can bus module.....I have wiring diagram but it's like 4 pages with all of it. Headlight connects to bcm.

in the head light connector, terminal A:black wire is ground, B:blue/yellow is Low beam, C:blue/white is High beam power, D:blue is aux light power

how this helps

Hey Cam, If you are trying to get aux lights to stay on with high beams, I think I heard or read somewhere that with the new bikes on the CAN BUS system the dealer can re-flash something to make that happen. I am not positive and may be wrong but if that is what you are trying to accomplish you may want to look into it.

That's correct.  The dealer can go into the menu in the BCM with his scan tool and turn on the "aux lights on with high beams", or independent control, feature.  If that is what anyone wants to do, this is the correct way to do it on a HD-LAN bike.  Tapping into the wiring like with the older bikes isn't a good idea with the new system.

Jerry,

I'll be adding the f2p transmitter which is what I did on the breakout which has the CANbus as well. But I wouldn't bet against you on anything technical. So I'll try it and update everyone on success or failure on this thread and the GDO thread when done, hopefully this weekend.

Hey Cam, I kind of wondered if that wasn't what you were planning.  Since the F2P is only going to be using that connection to trigger the transmitter, and not actually power it, I would think you would be OK.  Just make your connection in such a way as to be easily reversible in case it doesn't work properly.
