The holes were already there when I got the tour pack.  However, the pad is small so it only has the two center holes (about 1" apart, in vert. position) to hold the pad.  Due to the holes being verticle, there was still a bit of swivel in the pad so I had them drill a third hold in the tour pack.  That third hole would be near the outer edge of the pad, to stabalize the pad.

By the way, yes, the lower pad is Corbin also.  It's just a pillow with a thin piece of foam in it.  I asked them to put a double layer of foam sheet in it, so mine looks a little more like a pillow. :)  It's attached by a couple pieces of 2" velcro across the top and bottom, full width.  So you can remove the lower pad, adjust it or whatever.....with no problem.

:nixweiss: So those 2 outer holes on either side of the pack are already there??? I'm not worried about the center holes since I am putting a pad there nayway, but I would like to do something wirh the outer holes. Maybe chrome button head allen bolts?

TP is looking really great JC.  Can't wait to see how the solo looks on the scoot.  Terrie's bike looks superb as well.  I sure do envy a guy who can keep his better half happy with bike mods.

Had the cat removed and the Fullsac 1.75 baffles, the TTS tuner and the new Fueling 574 cams.  My dyno sheet can be seen here....  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=44545.0

Torque looks great and it has a smooth curve but the HP appears to come on pretty late in the RPM range.

Sounds like the ride test felt better than the chart? :2vrolijk_21:

Like the ol' saying goes..... "torque gets you there, horsepower keeps you there".

I wanted "useable" power for street riding, not top end drag strip power.  Running through the gears is great. :2vrolijk_21:

I got the solo tour pack rack on tonight but pics are going to have to wait.

Dick put the guilt trip on me so..........Jon (Jonga) & Susan (WasJons) rode up this morning so we all went for a ride and I got some photos.

Let me just say again that I am very, very happy with these Fueling 574 cams.  Coupled with theTTS tuner, 1.75 Fullsac baffles and the catless head pipe, it's exactly what I wanted!  Real, useable power without bumping compression or doing head work and it has power at all RPMs in all six gears and it's not to loud!  I let Jon ride it for awhile up in the hills......he's sold. :)

The king tour pack with the Corbin backrest and backrest pad work great in the forward position.  If you guys will remember from my seat post, I had two layers of foam put in the back rest pad (the lower section that velcros to the tour pack box below the lid) and that helped in this case.  The next time I'm in Hollister I may have them make me another one with three or four layers (will have to test ride it with each) of foam.

I still have to find some chrome button heads to temporarily fill the holes in the tour pack lid where the regular back rest bolts in.  I want to keep it able to use either way.  If my wife's bike were in the shop for a period of time then she can still ride with me.  This past summer Vgirl spent a week on the back of my bike when she flew out here from Georgia for the GTG in Mt. Hood......so who knows when I'll need to go back to the passenger position.

This may not work so well for a short rider.  Keep in mind that I'm 6'4".  A shorter rider may have to use the Corbin back rest (the tour pack has a mount location about another inch or so back).  For this purpose, I have it mounted in the forward position.

Jon's very short so while he really liked the touring pull back bars, he didn't get to experience riding while resting agains the tour pack like I do.
