Many of us have shipped and there's multiple threads in here on shipping.

You might try the search feature. :2vrolijk_21:

Used Keyboard; did a fine job and delivered to my door.  There's a recent thread about them w/ pix.

Make sure you contract with "the" shipper and not a shipping "broker".  I made that mistake this past May, trying to get a trike shipped from Ohio to Denver.  After 4 weeks of the "run around" and several excuses, I drove to Ohio with my trailer and brought it home myself. They could not get a shipper to commit to picking it up.

Ps.  I like them due mostly to their "sled" hardware for securing the bike.  It has wheels on it so they can roll the bike around still strapped down if needed, then lower the whole assy. to the floor where they secure it to the side walls of the truck.

So far they have been on schedule except for a 2 day delay due to a death in the family of the delivery driver on my run.  No problem.

They do a very detailed initial inspection.  They even found and noted a couple minor scratches the prev owner nor BikerBill, who did a local inspection for me, noticed.  I assume they will do a likewise detailed inspection when they deliver it.

They do pickup and delivery to your door (or at least the end of your driveway).  Reasonable rates.  You can call and check on the schedule (which can vary a day or two) and will call and give you a window for delivery of 30 minutes (I think).

So far my experience has been good with Keyboard.  I'll post a followup when my bike arrives on Thursday.

I just shipped to Denver and back through Federal. I suggest you have the bike shipped to a dealer They can receive your bike and go over it for damage. A good dealer will wash it and go over it then write up an estimate for repairs. Use AMA as a discount source it's better than HOG

Don't ever use Daily Direct to ship your bikes. Had a friend use them, at the
request from a local HD dealer. Bikes arrived 4 WEEKS late!!!! Had the shipped
from Miwaukee to Prescott AZ!

I have used Keyboard twice to ship bikes.
I will use them again in the future.
When the 2011.5 SEUC came back from California/Tahoe there was a rub mark on each end of the tour pack lightbar.
I took pictures, call Keyboard, got a replacement quote from the Harley shop, sent the quote to Keyboard.
And I waited.
Thinking what a pain in the butt this will be if they jerk me around.
The next day I got an email from Keyboard saying my claim was valid and they would pay the replacement cost.
What a relief, no threatening, no fighting, they did the right thing and that is one of the reasons I will use them again.
I ordered the painted lightbar that matched my 2011.5 and the Keyboard check was here before the part was.
Great company IMHO!

I have tried several of "the others" and not been pleased. Keyboard Carriage is simply the best. I have used Keyboard many times and and they are always excellent.

Hey you should have no problem.  My bike arrived today in same shape as it left Kenosha.

Keyboard rocks.
