Bike mounted camera
« on: February 25, 2012, 04:32:43 PM »

Has anyone heard of or have the Cobracam CX51 mini-dvr? I'm considering mounting a camera on my bike and I don't know much about the options out there.

Thanks!

How did you mount yours handle bars or engine guards? I have a GoPro and want to mount so as not to get a lot of vibration.

Thanks,

Aren't the engine guards 1 1/2"?  :nixweiss:  The TechMount says it's only up to 1 1/4".

The gopro handle bar or roll bar mount work very well too.

Does the roll bar mount work on the engine guards with the lowers attached?

Thanks, it does seem to have great picture quality. The case is weather resistant? How do you turn it on and off? If it's mounted on the handlebars, I take it that the mount is tall enough to clear the fairing? Sorry for so many questions but I know nothing about them and want to make sure I get the right set up.

completely weather proof, only 2 buttons on the camera. once youn know how it works you could reach down and hit the top button. they have a "remote" option that i may purchase

Thanks. I checked out their site and I take it that you have the motorsports edition?
