There has got to be production numbers of all three colors for the 05 SEEG.  There's probably as many red ones as there are yellow and teal combined!  Should start a poll, see how many of each color is owned [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif] [smiley=cherry.gif] by members of this site.

Not a bad idea loose goose, only been on this site for 2 weeks but knowing these guys they have probably done it before, although an upto date one must be interesting, put me down for 05 in a custard kinda colour! havin seen 06 & 07 colours i'll stick with ole custard( please dont take offence 06 owners ) they just dont seem as showy as the 04/05, or is it me? Another thing I personnally think they are losing the exclusivity now the MoCo has latched on to the idea of $$$$$$$$$ by giving the dealers a handful of each model instead of just one, or is it me! Does anyone have an idea of dealer allocation for 07. Ps the teal is the most common colour here in the uk, with the yellow the rarest! [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=banana.gif]

One other item....was in a local HD dealer yesterday....they are offering $2000 off MSRP for 2006 SE Models...here's a link to their site: http://americaneaglehd.com think they expect the market to fall apart for those bikes??? If you're thinking about selling I would sell in a hurry before the general public catches up to this trend....

I also agree with Crawdaddy.  The CVO paint schemes is what drew me to them in the 1st place.  I realize the 06's have been a nightmare for paint, but that's not our fault.  The new SEULtra colors are uninspiring for such a nice bike.   They went too plain/simple for the 07's..  Most people won't know them from a std Ultra.

Tbone, last year I ran into a guy who works at the Tomahawk plant.  They do the fiberglass painted parts in Tomahawk.  He told me they started production on the teal and all of a sudden they stopped and went to the red.  The teal came out first and they went by customer reaction.  I've only seen one on the showroom floor, the lighting sucked so I wasn't impressed.  I would like to see one in the sun.  I would say the candy teal is the rarest of all CVOs, well except for the 02 red Roadkings.   When my bike got to the dealer we cut a hole in the side of the box and shined a flashlight in. When I saw the light hit that dark teal on the lowers I said, SOLD!

I totally agree the 07's do not impress me at all, not even the 06's. I got the 05 cherry and also agree that the 04, 05 colors from those two years were the best. It's funny at Cripple Creek there must have been atleast a half dozen Cherry's, two Pumpkin's and I think two Banana's.

Bob, there was one night pretty late I wandered out to the garage and I saw two bananas also.  The pink elephant and the dancing tangerine were getting ready to ride them.  That was the fun night with the Griswolds  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] .

I had a 2004 blue\black that I sold in Aug to buy a 2007 blue\blue in Sep.  Major mistake.  The 2007 vibrated and was extremely hot and I never got really excited over the paint.  The vibration was so bad I could not read the road signs after 50+ miles.  Sold it yesterday, lost $2500, and am buying a yellow 2005 next week.  Never really liked the attached tour pak either on the 2007.  

Live and learn, its only money, can't take it with you!
