I have not read throught the whole thread but what I did read did not have anything about the CVO curved,lighted lic plate frame in chrome or black by Kury.No drilling,plug and play.Has the red running lights or you can get one without the running lights.Seems that I got the info from this forum for my 09. Maybe its the medication.Fred.

I am not a fan of having anything made by Kuryakyn on my bike!! But I have to say, I think it is the nices plate frame I have seen. Drill the holes and move on.

Looks really good! Which Kury part number did you use, again? Was it available in black, and did you drill 4 holes or just the upper 2?

I used Kuryakyn Plate frame 9182, had it painted Black Diamond, and drilled all 4 holes. I would do it again in a heart beat.

Thanks for your help with the Kury part number. It appears that you've got your bike set up perfectly. I bet you love the 30T conversion! By the way, how do you like the WO575 bars? They are supposed to be 2" higher and 2" more pullback than stock; do you find that to be true? I'm torn between these and maybe going with the 10" or 12" Yaffe monkey bagger bars.

For what it's worth. I have the 575's on my 05 Ultra.  Put them on a over a year ago along with a friend who put them on his 10 limited.
Both of us are now having second thoughts about not going with 10" or 12" Bagger bars.   The 575 are also a couple inches wider than stock which I have since decided I'm not that fond of.

Fast380, did the black gasket material behind it come with it or is that something that you made?  Thanks.

I used the inner fairing trim from the moco around the edge. It has the glue already on it.

Personally I really like the bars. I didn't want to have to change the brake or clutch line and didn't have to with these bars. I would estimate the additional 2 up 2 back is pretty accurate. I also wanted to keep my hands behind the fairing, which it did.

The 30 tooth conversion is money well spent!!

I also used the fairing trim for the plate frame. it is a U shape, I had to trim off the part that goes behind the plate, so now it is closer to a L shape.
