Those with visionary skills. Please, I need your help!
« on: October 20, 2012, 10:52:41 AM »

About once a week for the last three years, I'll get a guy on the phone who tells me his stock Harley crossover is crushed and killing his power and he has
less flow out his left muffler. I politely try to explain that its not the oval shaped crossover, its the fact that the left side is being fed by a 1.5" outlet and
the right side is 1.75. Even though I dyno tested this back in 2009 and found no gain, they will contine to tell me how much additional power I could make
if I would just make a round cross over instead of the smashed POS stock one. Last week, a gentelman actually requested a refund on his X Pipe after his
friends Buddy's cousins told him the stock crossover had to be replaced or it was all a waste of time. I wish I had these special powers, the ability to just
look at something and make a statement of how many HP up or down we are going to see. Back in the old days, I used a 1/4 mile of ashfault and timing
lights to determine what direction I was heading. For the last 25 years, I have used a dyno to help the learning process. It seems the old school ways are becoming
obsolete. I always try to stay current and use latest technology. So now I'm going to the internet to test my products! So please, if your a Guru, a Wizard, an
Alligator wrestler or even a ticket scalper, look the new Fullsac "D" XPipe with equal flow dual exit 1.75 collector and full round 1.75 crossover and simply tell
me how much more power we are talking about over that smashed stock crossover.  If you feel confident, draw us a dyno chart too. A sharpie is fine.

I thank all in advance for wielding your special talents my way.

You're kidding right? Or if this a new product for those who think they know better than you? Either way, I wouldn't have wasted my time, although it's probably better than sitting and stewing with it yourself, like I would probably have done.

Steve, I'm sorry I couldn't do better man.  But after thousands of man-hours-milliseconds I was able to work this up for you.  Hope it helps.

Steve, don't you just love it when some "talking head" tries to tell you your job you've been at most of your life. By the way I love your stage one map especially the fact that I never did any dyno time, and it runs like a champ even on some 90 octane with 10% ethanol that I had to use this summer on my way to Arkansas. It was about 105 degrees and no pinging still ran great two up with luggage. If I decide  go with your stage II map and andrews 54 I will be giving you a call. As of right now performance wise I am very happy. CAHDBIKER

No matter who you are or what the subject, there is always somebody that thinks they know more than you do about what you are doing or saying. Just participating on this board proves that therory.

Anyway, beautiful looking welds and fab work !

The HP and TQ are looking pretty equal. Can you show me what the bottom end looks like? I know for my self, a good solid bottom end that can really
take a beating is preferable to the big top end numbers that tend to sag out later requiring a rebuild at substantial cost.

Good prediction Twolaner. I'm all in.

Ok, maybe I missed something earlier, but to figure the area of a circle, or in this case, an exhaust pipe. Area = pi x R2, or 3.14159 x the radius squared.  Figured that way, an oval (squashed) pipe has the same area as a circular pipe of the same diameter even though it is not a perfect circle. Or, figured differently, take the circumference divided by pi (3.14159) which will give you diameter, divide that in half to get radius.
