Not my picture, but my first was a Honda 55. Dad had his Triumph in the living room and I got the 55 to get running. About 10 at the time. Memory Lane.

I stopped at "Brothers" one sunny afternoon on a ride around Lake Tahoe.  Its a bar on the east side of the lake and saw two of these.  One had a license plate frame that said "Yes It's Fast - No, You Can't Ride It".

My first real ride (after Honda 50's and 90's) Not my bike but one just like it. 2 stroke triple. Remember having to add oil to the reservoir, being able to lift the wheel in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The trademark ringningning sound (some good movies of these on youtube). Bike was a screamer (or at least it seemed like it when I was 18.

Just got started riding recently, so nothing as nostalgic as many posted here. 100th Anniversary bikes won over my wife and we got a pair of Sporties. She's since decided the back is the place for her, so no more Sporties in the garage, just the SERK.

This thread sure is a walk back in time........and that Honda Scrambler sure brought back memories.

Talking about old Honda dreams and scrambler reminded me that Brad at Freedom Cycle has at least a dozen, several that have been restored that he ride often.

I do not have a pic of my first bike either but it was just like this one. I had it until my step dad came home from work early one day and caught me doing my paper route on it, I was 14

No idea where those old pictures are since we put Dad's stuff in storage.  I don't count my Briggs & Stratton days, since......well.......it wasn't really a motorcycle, but that was my first ride.  Long time ago.                  LONG time ago.   :2vrolijk_21:

Wish I had a picture to share, but my first bike was a Honda mini trail 50. Had to get a job to buy it at 12 and have been riding ever since. My last bike before My first Harley was Kawasaki 1000 LTD and that was the one Karen started riding with me 27 years ago. Oh yea, she also sold the Kawi and that opened the door to purchase my 96 Wide Glide which I still have.

Always wanted a 70 when I had my 50 but ended up with a new Honda 125 instead.

Yea, but mine wasn't that nice and the tank was red and white, and no chrome fenders. I like that one better.
