It states this in the description:  "The lifting lever is inconspicuously tucked away below the passenger footboard, and fits with all Harley-Davidson® Original Equipment and accessory footboard and exhaust configurations."  So are they saying it won't work with aftermarket exhausts? :nixweiss:

Sounds like they not saying either way. One of those "CYA" notes/restrictions. :-\

I am picking mine up from the shop tonight. I will try to get a few pictures of the center stand w/ the ride str8 on my SEEG and post them, so you see see how they fit. I also have V&H TD's on the bike.

By "dog bone", are you talking about the channel under the rear part of the frame?  That is where my J&S jack goes, or one leg of it anyway.

I'm not sure I could get the beast up on the centerstand, if it had one.  I have this picture in my mind of getting the bike stood straight up while being off of it, fumbling around with one foot tryin to get the centerstand down, then the bike falling away from me and me getting pulled down on top of it trying to stop it.

Now a hydraulic centerstand, like the Beemers have would be a different story.

Nope, still waiting.  Doing a ride to the White Mountains this weekend and would love to have it on the bike.

I have the Rivco non-adjustable on my 06. I love it. Use it all the time in storage and when on trips for overnite and under cover.  I do wish it was adjustable though as when it's on level ground, it has a slight lean to starboard.

They're not hard to use, but it's mostly technique. Need to use as much leg power as possible, not with your arms. Those of you with SEEG's that don't have the rear crash, or saddlebag guard, might have a problem, as there wouldn't be much to hold on to to lift. When I'm traveling and have my water bottle leather pouches attatched, it is a little harder to find a lifting spot.  When it's under cover at a motel, it kinda looks like a goldwing.   ;D

I've wondered on to that site in the past.... Naw, the non-chrome just doesn't do it.

I installed the center stand today. nstall was pretty easy but a couple of issues that I had with mine were that the passenger floor board would hit against the stand when it was up. I had to raise the floorboard to the upper position to gain the needed clearance.

The other item is the mounting on the unit to the cross member. The instructions tell you to use the 7/8" 1/4" -20 bolts to mount it and bent the plate into place and then remove them and use the 1/2" bolts for the permanent mount. I did not like the idea of bending into place so I used a 1/4" spacer between the top bar and lower plate. Here is a pic of where I placed the spacer:

Adjustment wise I started with the "wheel off the ground" position. 6 turns out for a lowered bike. It was damn near impossible to get the bike onto the stand as i do not have the rear guards on my bike. I imagine with the rear bars you would have something to grap onto to help get it up on the stand.

I lowered the adjustment all the way down to 1 turn out and getting it on the stand is really easy and the rear wheel is just off the ground.

Here is a pic with it up on the stand.
