Man........THAT is some scary stuff!   :o  Here's wishin' the best for your's and your Bride's recovery.  Maybe it's just my skepticism of TBW, but I think that whole design needs a relook and COMPLETE testing prior to fielding.

Don't know what to say! Amazing story! Glad you and your wife are alive and healing. I hope you find the root cause of the problem. I am sure others would like to know as well.

Heal quickly and welcome to a great site. Hopefully, there will be information here you can use.

Welcome.

Good luck with your recovery and with some resolution to the failure.

Have you had any luck finding any research on similar events?

What should I search under for the throttle/ clutch issue posts?

Try to enter 2008 clutch. It is important to start your search from the home page of the site. You'll find some discussion. I do not know if it is helpful, but look at this thread: http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=24314.0

Wow!  Hydraulic clutch and TBW throttle failing at the same time.  If I ever go down I hope I'm alone.  I'm glad you're recovering  and I hope they fing out what went wrong.

Oh yeah, welcome to the site from western NY!

Thanks again all.  Jester dont exactly know what happened as of yet but I will inform you all once a resolution can be found if any.  The fact that I cant remember anything is a definite problem the only details I have are from my wife who was on back
