The SE 585 has been an excellent performer for me (don't confuse this with the S&S 585). With dyno tune was able to achieve 118 torque and 109 HP with only the Fullsac DX (2.0 cores) and TTS tuner--no headwork, compression increase, etc. Oh, I did change the sprocket to a 31T. Very pleased with the entire package.
Because I did something REALLY STUPID

, I'm curious as to your recommendations for a mild cam upgrade to my 2015 FLTRUSE. Entering the 4th Quarter of my life, this is likely my last bike and I'm looking to enhance the longevity of my Twin Cam 110 by replacing the lifters with S&S Premiums. So I pop off the lifter cover to swap out the lifters and notice to my dismay that the anti-rotational pin is "MISSING" and nowhere to be found

. Clearly it had been there as the lifters were still perfectly aligned so I'm guessing it somehow fell down into the cam area below

. In order to find that pin I'll have to remove the cam cover (and to get to the cam cover bolts, the exhaust as well

). I'm thinking I might as well make my efforts fruitful by upgrading the cams while I'm in there .......but I really don't want to change out anything else (like springs, throttle-body, etc.) I'd just want a bit more torque for two-up touring and the SE-585 appears to fit the bill. The SE-585 description indicates " ....fits 14-16 CVO Touring models with
or without the use of a 58mm Throttle Body" ......but "
requires .....Performance Valve Spring Kit P/N 18013-03A". These forum posts appear to disagree the valve spring upgrade is necessary. Your help is appreciated ........what do you guys think?
