LMFAO! I was saying that straight out! What I said there in a roundabout way is that I need to be much less pig headed when I'm pissed off beyond all recognition and listen to my wife who is actually concerned about my well being.

3 years ago on an old dresser I left my house on a gorgeous morning that was 15 degrees outside. Problem was it rained like a mofo the day before and ran across the road and froze a 200 foot of road, side to side with no escape path. I made 150 feet before I had to try to turn or run into a rock wall. I leaned... very VERY gently. The bike said "Screw you dummy" and I made another 25 feet on my side. Then 3 guys helped me lift her off the ice. I rolled it the remaining 25 feet and rode the rest of the way to work. Pig headed... That's me!
I rode that day because I blew the motor on my car the dya before in the rain and was pissed of and didn't want to call someone to give me a ride. My wife warned me that the rain might have frozen and nicely offered to give me her car and get a ride from someone herself. Since my wife never nags, she didn't force the issue and screwed the paint on my immaculate 14 year old dresser.
What reminded me of this, is that was the first time after 18 years of street riding that I ever had a bike on it's side. I tried the picj-up technique and ended up with my feet sliding out and then me sliding about 10 feet down the hill away from the bike looking like special eddie, flat on my back with traffic stopped in both directions. It's funny now. Very funny. Not so much then.

Ride Safe,
J-Carr
P.S. I still ride in below freezing temps. I just take the cage the day before to make sure the road is clear before I take Nemo!
