Dewey,

Why mill the heads?  Why not deck the cylinders to 0" and go with the the .030" head gasket?  Is the problem that this doesn't bring the squish down tight enough, .025-.030"?

The stock cam on the CUSE3 is the 255.  As I understand probably one of the better cams for torque in a mildly modified motor (air, exhaust, increased compression).  What benefit would one see with the 251?  I'm looking for torque to get me and the woman up to crusing speed and then coast along 60-75 mph.

The 'stock' 110" with the 'stock' 255 cams already has TOO MUCH COMP. !  200-220 cranking comp. and when tested with the releases off at sea level they are 216-218 come on homes,blod,cuz.  THAT IS RACING COMP.. PERIOD . now you want to use a .030 hg WOW ,  Stick a Woods 7 or a Andrews 32H in there with a .030 hg. and enjoy. You are putting too much thought into this. Giligans Island is on,gotta run. 9.3:1 is too much compression?  :nixweiss: I can't believe that's racing compression.  ???

He's referring to CCP Charlie, not static CR. ;)

AND  9.3 - 1 is a JOKE ! I already explained that before. Go to bigboys calculator and put in different cams and see what it does to your cranking comp. I will say it 1 more time, the 255 cams are NOT ground to what the specs say ! PEROID !  Lets say you have a 95" that has 9.3 - 1 comp. thats basically stock with 'big bore' . Will you have 220 lbs. of cranking comp ? or would you have 'around'  170-175 lbs. you tell me.
