I've had a bad back for years. First thing I added to my SERG was the matching back rest. It's great, I can ride of hours with no discomfort. It can be removed in under 10 seconds and stored in the saddle bag.

I just got back from Sturgis. On the first day of riding I went from Sturgis to Lethbridge Alberta. That's a total of 1225 kms. I found the stock seat a little hard but my back was fine, thanks to the back rest.
