Catch enough fish and the price per pound will come down into the low $10,000/lb range...Tight lines, gin clear waters and no big waves. I know you dont like em..

Enjoy my bruddah.

The place looks great.  Twist my arm and I might come up there and help you bring the cost per pound down!  I can wear my life vest and my fishing pole will just look like another antenna on the Ultra Classic.

Fishing wasn't important after I lost my virginity so I quit fishing at the age of 11.  ;D  the only reason I ever started fishing was I thought it'd help me quit drinking. So, needless to say, I've forgotten how to fish. Being as I have this place on the lake, I decided I need to relearn how to fish. Bought a boat for about 5K, $1,000 worth of fishing gear, $100 for license, and $100 in beer. Put the boat in yesterday and fished all afternoon. I caught one crappie. It only dressed out about 1/4 pound of meat.  So, we froze it, and went to Boyettes and ate. Cost us $30. Whatta bargain!!! Boat might be for sale before long If'n I don't learn how to fish.
So the moral of the story is .... I'm a ole 50 year old fart that don't have sex and thinks fish stink but I still like to drink beer and float my boat. :huepfenlol2:

Ken,

Awesome looking place Brother!.  Congrats to you and JD.

I can't help you on the fishing much.  Did a lot of fishing when I was a kid, then I discovered motorcycles, girls and beer (roughly in that order) no more interest in fishing.  It always looked to me like just a way to make people think you were doing something productive when in fact you were just floating around the lake drinking beer.   :drink:

By the way, does this mean we now call Cheri, JBD?  Johny Boat Decor?

Thanks for the information. I live just a few miles North of Reelfoot lake in the edge of Ky. My main HD dealer is Abernathy's. Ever up in the area, give me a holler.

Dave, that pretty much sums it up. How'd you know anyhow?

Travis, I don't have permission to call JD anything other than Cheri or JD. You'd have to run that question by her.  ;D

Hey Ken.  I recall that day.  Terry brought the V-Rod up to you and you guys stopped by Boyette's where we were having lunch for a short visit.  We were going back (to Boyette's) tomorrow (Sat., 3/5/11), but the weatherman has gotten us but good.  Near 100% chance of thunderstorms tonight and Saturday.  So we've re-scheduled for next Sat, 3/12/11.  Come on down and eat some fish with the Memphis H.O.G. Chapter.

We were pretty well on the way to getting totally wasted at that point...if you recall, we were accused of singing that night... :huepfenlol2:

Oh yea...I kept listening for banjos playing... :nervous:  That was a fun day blasting around the backroads of Kentucky...

You've got a pretty place there.  Actually, that's the kind of fishing I prefer to do.  Back when I lived in Tuscaloosa, I used to fish the Cypress Tree backwater areas off both the Warrior River, and the Tombigbee River.  I had a little V hull aluminum 14' boat with a 25hp tiller steered motor and had gutted the inside of the boat to turn it into a "bass boat". Always had to carry about half a dozen shear pins with me for when the prop would hit a Cypress Knee.

Ken and Cheri,

Love your lake house.   :2vrolijk_21:   When I lived in KY, I spent a lot of summers at Reelfoot.

Y'all were wasted and did sing!   :D   Cheri and I had a good time watching you two make fools of yourselves.  A good time was had by all.
