Wife got her trike A year ago and loves it. She had never rode a trike before but she had rode dirt bikes and atvs. She put 8700 miles on it last year part was to Sturgis and back.

Hey Ultrafxr, maybe I just imagined it, but I thought that I saw a trike at Bumpus Memphis on Saturday.  Have you checked to see if they have one on the floor?
Haven't been there for a few days.  I'll tell my friend so he and his wife can get down there and check it out.  :2vrolijk_21:

My wife has had three trikes.  Two Lehman Conversions and now she has a HD Tri-Glide.  No trike out htere has Traction Control, with the exception of the Can Am, two front wheels and one rear wheel.

Trikes are great, do not have to worry about falling over....

We are all concerned about what effect mods will have on factory warranty or ESP.  I would think that converting a bike to a trike would toast any hope of coverage for engine or drive train if it were major enough to require a field inspection.  Small stuff could probably get through but I would fear for coverage of anything major.  Moco and ESP admin want to hold on to those $$$$$$.

Last Saturday I overheard my local H-D Service Writer tell someone on the phone that the warranty would not cover whatever engine problem they were experiencing because they had done a trike conversion.  I don't know any details other than what I just stated.  Just sayin'

I hear 'ya.  That is what I would expect.  And, it is awfully difficult to 'hide' the fact that you've done a trike conversion!   :nervous: :nervous:
