Under an hour with beer.

Yeah, about the same with me.  Unbolt the old TP, slide the extender underneath, rebolt.  My wife held the TP while I put the extender in place, but it could be done alone without too much difficulty.

You may want to try using the search feature next time. I got this when I did - 07 CVO's delayed??? There is a name/address/phone number in that post. I don't believe Mr. Anderson has an email address and I know he doesn't have a website.

Anyone got a picture of the plate for the newer tour packs?

The one I found is for the old fiberglass tour packs

Does anyone elses better half complain that their ass is partially off the back part of the seat when the George Anderson adjuster is in the furthest back position? I had to end up moving it to it's furthest forward position, which I hope is further back than the stock HD'd furthest rear position, or else it might be up for sale  ???

I was surprised when she said that- I have a Corbin Dual Tour seat which I think is plenty big enough, and no, her ass isn't that big  :o .... maybe just the way she's sitting on the seat- I think when my riders back rest is inserted it makes her sit further back.

The 2.5" position is pretty far back, and I could see where a small person's butt would hang off the back of the seat a bit, and with a Corbin, that might not be comfortable.  It depends on how thick the torso is.  To answer one of your questions...yes, the furtherest foward position on the George Anderson relocater is 1" back from stock.  I recently installed one of his plates on my 2011 SERGU...my BSR is a small person...5'3" and about 120lbs...I found that the second set of holes...which is 1.5" back from stock...lines the TP backrest up pretty much perpendicular to the back of the stock seat. It also provides a space of about 1" or so between the TP speakers and the edge of the seat.  Seems to work out well in my case.  I have a stock seat, and put the driver's backrest in the second set of holes on the fender bracket.

When I talked to George before ordering, he recommended the second set of holes as a good starting point, and that seems to be very good placement for a BSR who is not a large person.  Thicker waisted BSR's might need it further back...hope none of them are reading this thread... :nervous:
