The 2.5" position is pretty far back, and I could see where a small person's butt would hang off the back of the seat a bit, and with a Corbin, that might not be comfortable. It depends on how thick the torso is. To answer one of your questions...yes, the furtherest foward position on the George Anderson relocater is 1" back from stock. I recently installed one of his plates on my 2011 SERGU...my BSR is a small person...5'3" and about 120lbs...I found that the second set of holes...which is 1.5" back from stock...lines the TP backrest up pretty much perpendicular to the back of the stock seat. It also provides a space of about 1" or so between the TP speakers and the edge of the seat. Seems to work out well in my case. I have a stock seat, and put the driver's backrest in the second set of holes on the fender bracket.
When I talked to George before ordering, he recommended the second set of holes as a good starting point, and that seems to be very good placement for a BSR who is not a large person. Thicker waisted BSR's might need it further back...hope none of them are reading this thread...
