His comments were not based on whether it works or not, just that he had seen a lot of them leak and he told me that it was more of a pita to change the oil...

My bud that put a jagg on his skunk, told me that after about 30,000 miles one of the hoses blew off going down the interstate, luckily he was able to shut it down before the engine was trashed :nervous:, he did tell me that if he would have checked the clamps more often, then it probably wouldn't have happened... he's running an ultra-cool now... he does his own service, has never mentioned about either one being any more difficult to change the oil filter.

So when you're running a Jagg,  be sure to check 'dem clamps :2vrolijk_21:

I've run many Jagg coolers and never had a leak...  Seems if a hose blows off riding down he highway it's more of a reflection of the "mechanic" or "tech" that did the installation than the cooler.  Just saying...   :nixweiss:

I am with you on that, this guy can screw up an anvil... with a rubber mallet... He does do some miles though, I was with him in October 2012 when he bought the Skunk with less than 500 miles, it's showing over
93 K now...

Hey ED made me laugh. My Dad still says I can tear up a steel ball with a rubber headed hammer! Not trying to jack but You know the hot rod engine I've got and I run the OIL BUD and love it. Its a little pricey but it works great!

How visible is the oil bud? Can you get one at a good price someplace?

If I remember right, the oil bud mounts under the frame so it's virtually invisible. I looked at those when I was shopping coolers. I think they're around $600.

Browsing Craigslist this morning; saw that this guy http://nashville.craigslist.org/mpo/5505928471.html has the Jagg you were asking about for $250 says it's new. He's not all that far from me if you're interested.

Ok, good. It comes in 3 different finishes: machined, polished and powder coated, so I wondered about that. Don't know why someone would pay more for the polished or powder coated if you can't see it. I like the idea that it's not hanging off the down tubes like the Jagg cooler for Breakouts.
