Tony,  great news on getting the bike back. It was in a long time?  But I guess you have not missed that much riding.  So glad you got the chrome starter.   :D  You will love it.

See ya on the road come spring.   :cherry:
Thanks, Candy.  I'm sure we'll get together this year.  Looking forward to it.

... Looking forward to seeing you guys again in York.  Hopefully our plans won't get derailed this year.  We are in the midst of planning a June wedding however!! Our daughter got engaged shortly after New Years and decided June would be nice.  Phyllis and I said, great a year and half to plan, she said, "No - this June".  Holy crap!  Anyway, it's all good.  She's a happy camper and that's all that matters. ...
Wow,  :o a year and a half is even not long enough to plan for that big event, but if you can keep is simple, somehow  :nixweiss:, it will all be fine.  :) Trust that you approve of her choice.  We will see you in York.  Gotta take a couple of weekends off the planning between now and then, or go nuts.  Looking forward to it.   ;D

Tony,
Congrats on getting the bike back and also on your daughter's engagement!  June's not that far away, but I'm sure you'll get everything done in time.  ;)   Glad to hear ya like the lid wings.  Not only do they look good, but they light up the back end of the bike better too.  I hope all the issues are done with your bike.  I'm really nervous about mine.  I've got 5K on it and keep looking at the head gaskets, but haven't seen anything yet.   I think it's amazing that Waugh's have seen four other problems with the 110's and when I talked to the service manager at Richmond HD, he said they haven't seen any problems with the 110's yet.  I think that's really strange.  Everytime I bring up issues of the 110 to him, he says they haven't experienced or heard of the problems.  Very strange.  Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I hope we can do some riding once you get your Jester out of winter layup.
Cheers :2vrolijk_21:,

Charley,  Mark is not telling you the truth when he says he has not had any issues with 110s.  I've seen two bikes that have had to have their engines 'fixed' because of the problems y'all are talking about.

And ...... do not know why, but Jamey just dropped his bike off on Friday and ...... Mark does not work there any more, it is Gary Bussy who is the new service manager.

Red,

I hope you are the one who has no problems at all :2vrolijk_21:  Surely, there has to be one or two bullet proof 110's cruising around.

TC,

Glad you got your baby back.  Sounds like she is in fine shape.  Spring will be here soon enough and you can "break her in" again.

Candy,
I agree. I had serious doubts that they haven't seen any 110 problems.  They've sold just as many CVOs as any of the other dealers around and they couldn't be immune from the problems.  I don't know why Mark was telling me that at all.  Maybe I just look gullible. :nixweiss:  Mark got a job at an HD dealership, as service manager, in North Carolina, down around the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area.  I talked with him before he left.  He's been wanting to get back NC, as that's where he's from.  Talking with some of the other guys there though, Mark had some serious issues with management.  Seems they've been trying to cut costs and that was affecting the service department's ability to do their work properly and Mark was having some serious disagreements with them on how they should run the service shop.  They've done right by me, but I've credited a lot to Mark for that, so we'll see.  :-*

John,
I am really hoping that I got a "good" one, but that would totally go against my fortunes in life.  If something can go wrong, it will go wrong with me.  :-\  Seems like Murphy's law was written specifically for me.  So it's just a matter of time I'm afraid.  :-*

Charley,
Hope you're one of the lucky ones!  I'm hoping I don't get a recurrence down the road.  Just have to ride and see what I happens I suppose.  Thanks for the congrats on Jen's engagement.  We're in the "oh crap" stage right now.  They have set a date (13 June (Friday the 13th)!!) and have a venue.  Now just a photographer, DJ, etc., etc.  I just sit back and listen to the cash register ring  :nixweiss:
Take care,
Tony

John,
Thanks much - not looking forward to the "re-break in", but I am looking forward to getting back on the bike.  It's all good.  Did you just purchase a J&S jack?  Have you gotten it yet?  Just wondering what you think.  I rolled my old one out to lift the Jester and I'm thinking I'm in need of a replacement.
Thanks,
Tony

Tony,
Don't believe all the hype about Friday the 13th.  It will be a good day for them. :)  As far as the money goes...you got that right...the cash register just keeps ringing up and up.  Unfortunately for us, the loan we took out to pay for our daughter's wedding lasted longer than the marriage did.  :-X  That really sucks.  But what can you do. :nixweiss:

Tony,

Yes, it came last week, and my daughter slid it into my office.  I was in Japan all of last week, so it is still sitting in the box. I am off today so I need to muster up the energy to put it in the garage and put it together.  I hope it last longer than my pos Sears jack, which the hydro fluid leaked all over my floor. :o  I'll post a pic or two in the J & S thread later today.

John,
Thanks much.  Looking forward to it.  So have you bought those nifty "water valve" handle stop bolts yet??  ;)
